Barred my limitation.

Still you owe the money borrowed by you.

You should pay it.

Any reason if you don't want to clear your credit card dues and why you are so keen to know statutory expiration?

claim of bank is barred by limitation

Appears to be barred by limitation. How did they trace out your foreign phone number?, do not commit for payment without knowing the details of the caller and the genuineness of the claim.

If you do not settle the matter with the Bank it will create a perilous situation.
