Conveyance deed

Dear Experts,

I have a Municipal Corporation plot in Faridabad Sector 52, I want to know the procedure of getting conveyance deed for that plot and also what is the % of stamp duty for conveyance deed.

You need an advocate to draft and register the deed. meet a local lawyer and ask for the stamp duty from him as it differs from state to state.

If the plots are of HUDA, consult HUDA office. They have well established system and language of conveyance deed. The stamp duty would be charged as per circle rate as under:

6% (in rural areas).
8% (including 2% Municipality duty) in Urban areas. (2% exemption of S.D. on instruments of sale executed in favour of women in rural/urban)
