Can i file a criminal suit without the presence of client

my client is an NRI, he is living in UK, he want to file criminal suit here can he do so. wheteher this suit can be filed without his presence? please answer by quoting the provisions of law with reason.

In a criminal case complainant will be required to advance evidence. As a matter of fact presence could be required at other hearings also. However, need to understand facts of the case & proposed action for providing better opinion

As a proprietor of some firm, do you have clients or customers?

Also, who made crime against your NRI client, when he is living abraod?

Also, when you are a proprietor, not a lawyer, in which capacity do you want to file a case in the absence of your so called client?

Prima facie it is a hypothetical and academic query.
Filing a suit is seeking a civil remedy which may be filed by a NRI; in his absence through a duly authorized attorney.
Rightly observed and pointed out by learned expert Sh. PS Dhingra, no crime can happen/take place to a person sitting/ living 7 ocean away in UK.
Give all relevant particular to a local lawyer for proper advise, guidance and proceeding in a professional manner.
