Affiliation limitation of universities

Dear Sir,

If we want to affiliate a college / institution for running courses,

it should be affiliate our near by universities only? or may apply for any other university in any other district or state but with in India?

Is there any restriction to get affiliation with universities?

there is any jurisdiction limitation for universities to provide affiliation?

kindly clarify me...

You can apply for affiliation to any university in india. The nearness in distance is no criteria at all.

Not a legal query. You may read the terms and conditions of the concerned university with which you like to get your college/ institution affiliated.

The affiliation aspect will be dealt by the college or institution with the universities directly and approval/affiliation will be granted on the agreed terms and conditions, hence you may approach the university directly from which you intend to seek the same.
