THE ARYA MARRIAGE VALIDATION ACT, 1937ACT No. 19 OF 1937[14th April, 1937.]An Act to recognise and remove doubts as to the validity of inter-marriages current among Arya Samajists. WHEREAS it is expedient to recognise and place beyond doubt thevalidity of inter-marriages of a class of Hindus known as AryaSamajists; It is hereby enacted as follows:-- 1.Short title and extent.-(1) This Act may be called the AryaMarriage Validation Act, 1937. 1*[(2) It extends to the whole of India except 2*[the territorieswhich, immediately before the 1st November, 1956, were comprised inPart B States] and applies also to citizens of India wherever they maybe.]
