Section : REPEAL OF ACT 48 OF 1950 AND SAVING

SECTION 33: REPEAL OF ACT 48 OF 1950 AND SAVING

3-(1)The Industrial Disputes (Appellate Tribunal) Act, 1950, is hereby repealed.

(2) Notwithstanding such appeal-

(a) if immediately before the commencement of this section, there is any appeal or other proceeding pending before the Appellate Tribunal constituted under the said Act, the appeal or other proceeding shall bedecided and disposed of by the Appellate Tribunal as if the said Act had not been repealed by this Act;

(b) the provisions ofSections 22-,23-,23A-of the said Act shall, in relation to any proceeding pending before the Appellate Tribunal, be deemed to be continuing in force;

(c) any proceeding transferred to an industrial tribunal underSection 23A-shall be disposed of under the provisions ofthe Industrial Disputes Act, 1947-. and save as afoesaid no appeal or other proceeding shall be entertained by the Appellate Tribunal after the commencement of this section, and every decision or order of the Appellate Tribunal, pronounced or made, before or after the commencement of this section, shall be enforced in accordance with the provisions of the said Act.
