Section : Transitional provisions.

26. Transitional provisions. Notwithstanding anything contained in this Act and the Statutes- (a) the first Chancellor, members of the Court, the Executive Council and the Academic Council shall be nominated by the Visitor and shall hold office for a term of three years; (b) the first Vice-Chancellor shall be appointed by the Visitor and he shall hold office for a term of five years.
