Section : Qualification for registration as a dental hygienist.

37.Qualification for registration as a dental hygienist.A person shall be entitled on payment of the prescribed fee to have his name registered on the register of dental hygienists, if he resides in the State and holds a recognised dental hygiene qualification: Provided that for the purposes of the first register of dental hygienists, a person shall be entitled to be registered, if he has been engaged as a dental hygienist as his principal means of livelihood for a period of not less than two years prior to the date of notification under sub-section (1) of section 36.
