Section : Punishment for intentionally running vessel aground or ashore withintent to commit theft, etc.

439. Punishment for intentionally running vessel aground orashore with intent to commit theft, etc.--Whoever intentionally runsany vessel aground or ashore, intending to commit theft of anyproperty contained therein or to dishonestly misappropriate any suchproperty, or with intent that such theft or misappropriation ofproperty may be committed, shall be punished with imprisonment ofeither description for a term which may extend to ten years, and shallalso be liable to fine.
