Section : Power to make rules.

83. Power to make rules.-3*[(1)] The State Government 4*[ may, bynotification in the Official Gazette, make rules] in regard to thedisposal of the fees mentioned in section 82, the supply of register-books, and the preparation and submission of returns of marriagessolemnized under this Act. 5*[(2) Every rule made by the State Government under this sectionshall be laid, as soon as may be after it is made, before the StateLegislature.]
