Penalty for contravention of section 22 or section 23 or section 24 or section 27.If any person contravenes the provisions of 3 * * * section 27, he shall be punishable 4[ with section imprisonment for a term which may extend to five years, or] with fine which may extend to rupees one lakh 4[or with both] and where the offence is a continuing one, with a further fine which may extend to one thousand rupees for every day, after the first, during which such contravention continues. 47. 5 * * * * * *
