428. Mischief by killing or maiming animal of the value of tenrupees.-Whoever commits mischief by killing, poisoning, maiming orrendering useless any animals or animal of the value of the ten rupeesor upwards, shall be punished with imprisonment of either descriptionfor a term which may extend to two years, or with fine, or with both.
