Interpretation-clause.--In this Act,- 2* * * * * "Civil Court" and "Court".--The words "Civil Court and "Court"shall 3*[save as provided in section 10] mean the principal Court oforiginal civil jurisdiction in the district in which 3*[or any otherCourt empowered in that behalf by the State Government within thelocal limits of the jurisdiction of which] the mosque, temple orreligious establishment is situate, relating to which, or to theendowment whereof, any suit shall be instituted or application madeunder the provisions of this Act.
