Section : Disobedience to quarantine rule.

271. Disobedience to quarantine rule.--Whoever knowingly disobeysany rul e made and promulgated 2*[by the 3* Government 4*] forputting any vessel into a state of quarantine, or for regulating theintercourse of vessels in a state of quarantine with the shore or withother vessels, for regulating the intercourse between places where aninfectious disease prevails and other places, shall be punished withimprisonment of either description for a term which may extend to sixmonths, or with fine, or with both.
