357. Assault or criminal force in attempt wrongfully to confine aperson.--Whoever assaults or uses criminal force to any person, inattempting wrongfully to confine that person, shall be punished withimprisonment of either description for a term which may extend to oneyear, or with fine which may extend to one thousand rupees, or withboth.
