356. Assault or criminal force in attempt to commit theft ofproperty carried by a person.--Whoever assaults or uses criminal forceto any person, in attempting to commit theft on any property whichthat person is then wearing or carrying shall be punished withimprisonment of either description for a term which may extend to twoyears, or with fine, or with both.
