Section : Abetting commission of offence by the public or by more than tenpersons.

117. Abetting commission of offence by the public or by more thanten persons.--Whoever abets the commission of an offence by the publicgenerally or by any number or class of persons exceeding ten, shall bepunished with imprisonment of either description for a term which mayextend to three years, or with fine, or with both.----------------------------------------------------------------------1. Subs. by Act 26 of 1955, s. 117 and Sch., for "transportation for life".----------------------------------------------------------------------125 Illustration A affixes in a public place a placard instigating a sectconsisting of more than ten members to meet at a certain time andplace, for the purpose of attacking the members of an adverse sect,while engaged in a procession. A has committed the offence defined inthis section.
