COMPREHENSIVE LAW TO DEAL WITH ATTROCITIES ON CHILDREN PRPOSED

A draft Offences Against the Child (Prevention) Bill with the aim of bringing all crimes against children, including child abuse, under one legislation in the best interest of protection of children is under consideration of the Government. The details are being worked out.

This was stated by the Minister of State for Women and Child Development, Smt. Renuka Chowdhury.
