Transfers of High Court Chief Justices

In exercise of the powers conferred by clause (1) of article 222 of the Constitution of India, the President, after consultation with the Chief Justice of India, is pleased to transfer (i) Shri Justice P.D.D. Premkumar, Chief Justice of the Karnataka High Court to the Sikkim High Court, (ii) Shri Justice Barin Ghosh, Chief Justice of the Sikkim High Court to the Uttarakhand High Court, and (iii) Shri Justice J.S.Khehar, Chief Justice of the Uttarakhand High Court to the Karnataka High Court and to direct them to assume charges of their respective offices on or before 13th August, 2010.
