All such schemes are nothing but total farce, rather a means of loot by NGOS and other agencies. No real help comes to the needy SC. In courts one finds them struggling for justice till death, and facing similar difficulties in other Govt offices. One also sees such SCs fighting poverty, driving Reckshaw or begging. The conditions of OAHs are no better. Govt should stop syphoning of public money.

There are unscrupulous Lawyers at Nagpur who are filing frivolous pititions on senior Citizens to lock their property and preventing their sale. Is there a policy to speed up the legal processes in case of senior Citizens? YV Prasad. Nagpur

I agree with Mr. Sood. At present no insurance company accepts medicare proposals from Senior Citizens above the age of 65 years. This is disregarding the health care of Senior Citizens who need it most. Better if the present age limit raised to 75 years.

Can you press for medical insurance coverage for senior citizens by irda.this should be the corporate social responsibility of all insurance coys.as per India's demographics, only 25 percent indians are above 60 yrs.ins coys don't give coverage to very elderly and enjoy premium from a healthy 75percent younger generation. Rgds, Umesh Sood
