Yes.  A person aggrieved by a District Consumer Forum can appeal to the State Commission within 45 days, with 50% of the amount due as per the District Commission's order.

File an appeal before State Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission endorsing all  the shortcoming in the order/ judgment.

The applicable court fee for filing an appeal has to be paid if you plan to file an appeal against the judgment of district commission.

If you are aggrieved  by order of Consumer Commission  then you can file appeal before State Commission its your legal right.Since Consumer Commission has not awarded any compensation so no court fees or stamp duty is required to file appeal..

To my understanding, fees payable depends upon the amount you are claiming.

Advocate Bhartesh goyal (advocate)     23 December 2025

Claim filed upto five lacks before Consumer Commission no court fees is payable.

The author seeks cost of the complaint since District (North-West)  Consumer Reressal Commission did not award compensation, for which no court fees has to be paid before Delhi State Consumer Commission.

However, there is bleak chance for aintainability / sucess on the issue, even if you (the appeallant /complainant) files an appeal.

The querist has not reverted with the details sought for clarifying and rendering appropriate suggestions, hence it appears that he was not very serious about his query.

Thanks for your  valuable information, I  agreed with Sh Bhartesh Goyal ( Advocate) in zero order of judgement  of District consumer forum ( Delhi) and claim file upto 5 lack , Then aggrieved ( complainant) can go to  State consumer forum there is no any fees to pay to state consumer forum( Delhi) ..

Regards.
