What is fate of counter feit products seized after fir

When ever a complaint is filed pertaining to counter-feit products pertaining to Trademark, after the raid by the police, the counter fiet products are seized and FIR is registered. The counter feit products are kept in the custody of police. When the acuused person is convicted or acquitted, what would be fate of the seized counter-feit prdocuts. Whether it will remain in the custody of police, or would be released to the accused persons or would be released to the complainant or right holder?
