want custody of new born child

A mother leave the new born child at public place and goes away now police file fir against her and arrested. she is now on bail and want custody of new born child.
new born child at orphanage.
1)which legal proceeding may be follow for obtain such custody.

File application in court for custody of child engaging advocate and pray the court that in future you take care of child carefully and be good parent.
