The Minister of communication & Information technology, Shri Gurudas Kamat informed the here today that a drive has been undertaken to add two digits to the Pin code. This will indicate the postman beat. In his reply to question Shri Gurudas Kamat said that this would be limited to only select post offices and select large mailers who post thousand of mail pieces on regular basis. It will assist in faster processing of mail in these post offices the Minister added.
