Trust

"A" is a managing trustee in trust X.

In trust Y "A" want to come trustee/Managing trustee. Is it allowed under Indian Trust Act ?

Can one person take two trusteeship in two different trusts.

Quick Summary
This discussion addresses whether an individual can serve as a trustee or managing trustee for two separate trusts under the Indian Trust Act. Generally, it is permissible for one person to hold trusteeship in multiple trusts, provided there is no conflict of interest and the respective trust deeds do not impose any restrictions. The ability to be a trustee is primarily governed by the trust deed established by the author of the trust.

Trusteeship depends on the Trust deed executed by the author of the Trust and the purpose of the trust. One can be a trustee of two trusts if there is no conflict of interest and the trust deed does not have any restrictions.
