Muslim marriage held in India. Husband Singaporean and wife an Indian. Husband filed a suit in Singapore and wife resisted there. Finally maintenance and custody of child awarded. Thereafter the husband divorced his wife by TRIPLE divorce at Singapore. The Singapore court approved it. What is the vaidlity of the divorce decree granted in Singapore?? Can it be enforced in India??

Need to see the contents of judgment, it is not matter of triple as the matter has been adjudicated in court. Triple is mostly isunderstood, instant triple talaq is barred in India. Thecontents of judgment can only make it clear

Extract of the judgmen:
Upon The Application of the Plaintiff and Upon Hearing, the affidavits filed herein And Upon Hearing counsel for the Plaintiff, ______________
1. The marriage solemnised on the 9th day of May 2011 and registered on the 20th day of May 2011 in India is dissolved by Plaintiff's pronouncement of talaq on 21-10-2020.
2. The court confirms the pronouncement of divorce and decrees a divorce by three talaq (bain kubra) and orders that the divorce be registered vide divorce certificate No. 58563.

The divorce is not properly endorced, as the instant triple talaq is not applicable and acceptabele in india. The divorce is valid as confirmed by court but shall not be endorced in indian courts any way. That is otherwise also a wrong way ,the marraige should be properly dissolved under sharia law . That should not be produced in India in anyway that will fetch you penal action.
