Termination without notice.

Sir,

I was working in concast infratech ltd (infrastructure company)in gwalior.On 2nd June 2015, i received a mail  from the CEO of the company showing that your services shall not be required after 15th may 2015 and your salary shall be paid upto 15th may  because of termination of our  road project by MPRDC.I was shocked because i was on duty till that day and before that they didnt send me any notice reg. that.They also terminated 6 more staff with same reason on 2nd june  and paying salary of 15th may only.

In our appointment letter it is clear showing that before termination 1 month notice or 1 month salary should be paid  but company did not follow that.

Please suggest me what should i do?

You are entitled for 30 days notice pay as per contract.

Demand it in writing under proper acknowledgmewnt.

 

You may approach employee's unions/Trade Unions, able Labor Law Consultant/Service Matters lawyer/Law firm dealing in Labor Law matters and your counsels after examining all docs on record may opine that you may stake for retrenchment compensation.
