Quick Summary
If you're facing a Section 138 NI Act case and are unable to provide the two sureties requested by the court because you're new to the area, there might be alternative solutions. This discussion explores options such as depositing a sum of money as an alternative to sureties, allowing you to contest the case, especially if you believe it has been filed falsely. Seeking legal advice from your solicitor is crucial for navigating these specific circumstances.

What are the facts? What is the context? Why surety is required?
