Hi,
My husband and I live with my parents in Chembur. My father is the member of the society .Recently there was an altercation between my husband and the secretary over parking. The secretary sent a letter home regarding the same. She has put the same letter on the society notice board without informing us about the same. I happened to pass by and saw the letter. I want to know is it legal for her to do it? And if it isn't what legal action can I take against her?

Dear Querist
It's depend on the contents of that notice, if the contents of the notice is defamatory then file a civil suit for defamation against his/her before civil court with claim the damages of reputation.
