Quick Summary
This discussion explores the permissibility of serving hard drinks in a society's common terrace area booked for private events. Key considerations include checking state laws regarding alcohol prohibition and common area usage, as well as obtaining written permission from the society's managing committee. The bylaws of the society and prevailing state government regulations are crucial factors in making this decision.

Any suggestion depends upon the laws prevalent in the State as well the social morale of the community. It is too hasty for strangers, like us, to offer any opinion or comment on the issue.

(a) Ascertain if the CHS laws of your State permit the use of common space of terrace for such parties,

(b) You need written permission from the Managing Committee of the Society to hold the party at the terrace as also for the use of hard drinks in the party,

(c) Next you need to know the prohibition laws of your State

It depends on the state government prohibition and the bylaws of the society
