Sir, my friend has started a two wheeler selling agency on commission with a reputed two wheel company. he is also doing servicing work after sales. However his service income does not exceed more than Rs.7 lacs per annum. However his commission on sales is Rs. 8 laksh and TDS is made on this amount. My question is whether he is liable to pay service tax on the service income. Pls advise.
