Sec 24 interim maintenance hearing

Hi 

Hello experts,  please advise here. 

I have filed a sec 13.1 divorce petition under cruelty  and my wife has a sec 9 rcr petition filed. The settlement out of court couldn't be achieved because of huge demands from her.  She now files  sec 24 attached to Sec 9 petition of hers. 

Now my question is would the case hearing of my section 13 divorce petition will continue or it will as well be withheld until the sec 24 interim maintenance petition is settled.
