Seal on affidavit

do a normal affidavit signed by an advocate (not notary) require seal?
I got an affidavit signed but failed to get seal. but advocate wrote his name and enrollment number. is this OK?

An affidavit is written by an advocate. As a scribe, it is not necessary a seal. Which Affidavit? Most Affidavits require attestation by a Notary.

The affidavit has to be attested by notary public.

Facts as well as query is not clear.

You have not poste the complete facts. In the normal course, affidavit cannot be executed before an advocate unless there are specific provisions to this effect.
