Sale of my plot

I was allotted a plot by a house building cooperative society. But the plot allotted to me was originally sanctioned to some other and subsequently sanctioned to me, the earlier ownership held by another person having been cancelled. The bank is asking for the original of the cancelled deed to safeguard against its misuse. But the original of the cancelled deed is not accessible. What is the way out.

Quick Summary
A plot purchased from a house building cooperative society is facing a roadblock in sale. The bank requires the original cancelled deed for security, but it's inaccessible. The discussion seeks advice on how to proceed when the original deed cannot be produced and clarifies the process of plot allotment by cooperative societies.
