Sale deed

I wanted to buy a plot, butPartition deed Number is wrongly entered in sale deed, can i purchase the plot without owner rectifying the sale deed?

Quick Summary
A user is asking if they can purchase a plot when the sale deed incorrectly states the Partition Deed Number. Experts advise against proceeding without rectification. An error in the sale deed, if not corrected via a rectification deed, can lead to significant issues when the plot is sold in the future. It is strongly recommended to have the owner rectify the sale deed before purchase to avoid legal complications.

1. IF Sale Deed error is not rectified via Rectification Deed, THEN the error will continue and cause you trouble at the time for subsequent sale by you in future.

How and when did you notice error in Sale Deed ?

Show the document to a local lawyer and it is advisable to consult a local prudent lawyer for better appreciation of facts, professional guidance and necessary proceeding.
