In my company the monthly payable cycle is till 20 th of the month. I forgot to mark the attendance for 18th to 20th (3days). Once the date 20th is crossed you cannot mark the attendance for next 10 days. You can mark the attendance from the 1st of the next month. After 30 days I marked my attendance for the missed days and it was approved by my manager but the HR is denying to pay the salary for 3 days. HR says the have the policy that the missed days salary can be paid only in the next month salary and not next to next month salary. Since I marked the attendance late but the days are approved by my manager, can the HR still deduct my salary? kindly help
