sacrifice of goats and sheep's in housing societies

dear learned advocates

I would like to know if the bye law or rule under Maharashtra Co-operative Housing Society act 1960 allows sacrifice of animals inside Society premises or terrace of buildings during Muslim eid Al adha or bakri eid festival.

appreciate your opinion with legal ruling etc. from high court or supreme court

Best regards

Quick Summary
This discussion explores the legality of sacrificing goats and sheep within housing society premises or on building terraces during Eid al-Adha, specifically under the Maharashtra Co-operative Housing Societies Act, 1960. Participants are seeking opinions and legal rulings from high courts or the supreme court regarding this practice. The consensus suggests that the permissibility hinges on the specific bye-laws of the housing society, provided these bye-laws do not contradict existing law.

Refer to Bye-Laws of the Society, which cannot be incorporated, as per law, if any.

That depends upon your society rules and bye laws
