Rti query sent twice but no reply

Respected members,

One of the neighbours took an illegal pension and based on our complaint to the municipal commissioner directed the battalion commandant to recover the pension amount and also initiate criminal action on a pensioner. In this regard, I asked commanded to provide an action taken by him on direct on municipality commissioner, fire appeal and second appeal completed and one month passed. what I have to do next.

Provided that such officer may admit the appeal after the expiry of the period of thirty days if he or she is satisfied that the appellant was prevented by sufficient cause from filing the appeal in time.

RTI application to PIO is the first step

The first appeal to the superior officer of the same authority, designated as Appellate Authority is the second step

Going for a second appeal to State Information Commission is the third step

You may have to wait for a minimum of 2 years for getting a hearing opportunity from the State Commission.

You have done your part and SIC decides on a further course of action.
