rti certified copy charges by IPO

is RTI copies fees can be pay through Indian Postal Order if piublic info officer asked cash and refused Postal order payment

Quick Summary
This discussion explores whether an Indian Postal Order (IPO) is a legally acceptable method for paying charges for certified copies requested under the Right to Information (RTI) Act. The original poster questioned a Public Information Officer (PIO) who insisted on cash payment and refused an IPO. While one response suggested demanding a receipt for cash or paying by Demand Draft (DD), the core question remains whether IPOs are a valid payment option under RTI law.
