Rti act covered for nbfc

Respected sir.. Is a NBFC covered under RTI act? For example bajaj Finance etc.. Thank you.

Quick Summary
This discussion clarifies whether Non-Banking Financial Companies (NBFCs), such as Bajaj Finance, are subject to the Right to Information (RTI) Act. The consensus is that NBFCs are generally not covered by the RTI Act unless they receive government funding. The thread also touches upon alternative complaint mechanisms for NBFCs.
