I require some legal advice regarding the RTI act.
I requested the copy of the holding register related my land in the sub-registrar office under whose jurisdiction I fall. I got no reply from them and then I wrote to the collectorate at Tirunelveli.
I got a reply from the collector's office that I should get that document from the sub-registrar office under whose jurisdiction I fall.
Moreover, I was informed that I don't have to contact the collectorate for my request.
The letter which I received was also sent to the sub-registrar's office.
Later I got a letter from the sub-registrar's office that " the information to your request cannot be provided".
What should I do to get the copy of holding register related to my land?
