Right on neighbours tree friuts

Dear Sir...Shall a neighbour has obsolute right to pluck friuts of neighbour tree branches extended into his property in india

Quick Summary
In India, if a neighbour's tree branches extend into your property, you generally have the legal right to trim them or remove any overhanging fruits. While legally entitled to do so, maintaining neighbourly harmony is often best achieved by discussing the issue amicably first. The law of torts may apply in disputes, but prioritising a good relationship with your neighbour is often more important than strict legal recourse.

1. IF neighboring Tree branches are "encroaching" into your land /compound (which can be declared as Nuisance /Trespass /Intimidation /Encroachment) THEN you are legally entitled to restrict /restrain the same by Trimming /Removing the branches or fruits that overhang into your land /compound. There is no legal infirmity or offence in this.

2. However to maintain neighborhood harmony, the neighbor may be requested to do Trimming /Removing the branches or fruits that overhang into your land /compound.

Harmony with the neighbour is beyond the confines of law.
