In one of the original suit civil case filed, we have the status as "Reporting scope of settlement U/S. 89 CPC". We are the  plantiff in this case.

Can some legal experts suggest what is this step in legal terms?

Is the court asking us to get into settlement with defendents?

Can we reject this settlement before court?
