Rental agreement issue

I had recently entered into a rental agreement for an agreed deposit and rent amount. Since usually an agreement is for 11 months, i signed the agreement as i was in a hurry. After i reached home and read, he had typed in the agreement that rental agreement is fixed for a period of 11 moths and locking period of 2 years separately. He hadn't specified that to me when discussing terms of agreement and i feel like i have been tricked. What can be done now?

Dear sir,

You should have cautiously read and understand the document before signing. Now you have only option to request and discuss the matter with the owner. Therefore always take expert's i.e. Advocate's help.

current agreement is void in eye of law, rent agreement upto 11 month can be made without registration, as you it has 2 year locking peried then this agreement has to registered to be enforceable
