rent / leave & licesence agreement registration procedure

Dear Sir,

We have taken on rent a flat in Malad(E), near dindoshi depot, commonly area called as Goregaon for Rs. 10000/- and deposit of rs.50000/-. We had entered into an normal agreement on stamp paper of Rs. 100/- on Jan 9, 2010.

Now, we want the agreement to get registered for our address proof.

Pl. let me know where can we get it registered?

what is the procedure?

how much time it would take

bifurcation of all the duties & charges & mode for payment for the same.

Is the old agreement on stamp paper needs to be necessarily on stam,p paper

what all documnet reqd?

is it feasible to do ourselve or presence of broker is reqd. 'cause many people says its not possible without broker as this would take very much time & coruption is involved everywheer. so, practically not possible. lots of hardship involved.

you just need to find out about the office of Registrar at Mumbai you along with other party with advocate have to go there and register it it will not take more than an hour. Cost have to be ascertained from local advocate only.

go to registrar office alongwith property papers ask regstrar for how much stampduty and registration charges the advocate will charge for writingof documents and for presentation and other minor works for identification two indian persons with two passportsize photos and photo identities.should remain present.it is simple . no need of broker for further detila u may call 9422773303

Mr.Bhagwat Patil,why cant Advocates charge for the work?Whats the meaning of Professional course,Professional Degree and Professional??? by the way whats u r qualification Sir?Do u think common man can take care of Documentation,cases etc., for them selves foreseeing legality and legal implications? Do u Advice the same in case of Medical Need?''Yaar Doctor Fees lega'' Medical shop guy can also give u medicines why do u go to a medical shop???

The laymen should always take help of advocates in such cases. They are the experts in such cases and take care of any difficulty or legal complication that may arise in the course of registering the documents. When a document is prepared language is also of great importance and so advocate's help is necessary.
