My collegue's relative (lady) approached SUB-REGISTRAR'S OFFICE TO REGISTER A SALE DEED, her THUMB IMPRESS IS NOT ACCEPTED BY THE BIOMETRICT DEVICE. THE SUB-REGISTRAR REFUSED TO REGISTER SALE DEED, NOT SUGGESTED THE ALTERHATIVE REMIDY TO PROCEED WITH REGISRATION OF A SALE DEED. IT IS REQUESTED " WHAT IS THE ALTERNATIVE REMEDY TO TAKE IN REGISTRATION OF A SALE DEED IN SUCH CIRCUMSTANCES. ANY ONE PLEASE GIVE REPLY

Usually, the left thumb impression will be taken. If it is not fit, the left index finger or right thumb will be taken. Ask the SR why did not he try another solution and complain against the SR to the District Registrar/Deputy Inspector General.
