Registry of propert

Hello ,

I am Anil kumar sahu,

I purchased one flat in Chhatishgarh-Durg.

Total cost of flat is 11 lacs

but while doing registry we are displaying it as 9 lacs.

Now i am going for registry so builder is asking me 1 lacs rs for registry.

64000 -for registry

3300 for service tex.

so total is arond 1 lacs.

can any one help me for the same.

is builder asking me the rght amount?

What ever costs you pay to Govt., like Registration fees, stamps can be checked by you and you can also get information through Google Registrations fees on value of property. You will get receipts for every thing. However, the other charges (?) that can not be accountable for easy registration is the only amount that can not be accounted. So you can get receipt for all the expenses except for expenses unofficially paid for easy registration.

If you feel that the builder is charging you with unjustified levy, you may ask him the veracity of the claim made and you can verify the details from the local registrar office for its correctness. You may also enquire about such exorbitant charges by the builder with the other flat owners/neighbors and decide next course.
