Registration requirement for the leased premises if ownership changes during tenure of the lease.

We have entered into a lease deed with an individual party for 9 years and same was registered too. Do we need to execute a fresh lease deed with new owner and register it with registrar if owner sells this property after completion of 6 years of lease ? In our current lease deed, we have included the clause that lease will continue with the same terms and conditions with new owner if ownership changes. If no registration is required as per India laws, what documentation we need to do new owner ?
