Registrated Land sign

Hi,

I have a resident land which is owned by me for past ten year, which was sold to me before ten year but not registered. Still registred in the name of previous land owner. The original land document is with me but in the name of previous owner.

The previous owner doesnt agree to register the land in my name.

what is legal procedure to register the land in my name.
