Registered will of 1950

A will registered in 1950 with only 2 identifiers but unfortunately the signature of 1 identifier has been automatically erased/vanish from the will as it was written in 1950. And another identifier is already identified by the grand daughter of the identifier. Please suggest me any laws/steps/suggestions to proof this particular will (registered will)

Quick Summary
This discussion addresses the challenge of proving a registered will from 1950 where one identifier's signature has faded. While one attesting witness has been verified by the court, the missing signature presents a hurdle. Suggestions include summoning the registrar to testify about the registered will and referencing Section 90 of the Indian Evidence Act, 1972, which may help establish the will's validity.

If you have applied for probate of Will, then in the absence of attesting witnesses, the registrar concerned may be summoned to testify the registered Will.

Thank you for you quik response (Kalaiselvan), yes I have applied for the provate and 1 attesting witness has alredy proven by the honourable court. But it is dificult to proof the another identifier as we are unalbe to see the signature of the another identifier

Why do not need to get the Will of 1950 probated in 2026, which is impliedly valid even if the property is located in either of the provincial state of Bombay, Calcutta and Madras renamed as Mumbai, Kolkata and Chennai respectively?

Is there any ruling or sections to proof (impliedly valid)

Please read Section 90 of Indian Evidence Act, 1972.
